What Is Expected Of A Patient Service Associate?

In nutshell, you’ll be in the healthcare frontline supporting administrative and customer service matters.

If you thrive on customer service, take delight in supporting and managing administrative matters, as well as enjoy engaging others with care and heart – this is the role for you!

Is There A Demand For This Role?

Absolutely. The healthcare industry is a vital sector of a nation, and you will be ready for both the public and private healthcare institutions. This includes hospitals and polyclinics alike of various healthcare specialisations.

Will I Need A Background In Medical Studies Or Similar?

Not at all. A Patient Service Associate differs from the medical practitioners e.g. nurses, therefore no diplomas or degrees are necessary.

At the heart of your day-to-day, you’ll be the key behind the scenes, orchestrating patient appointments, fielding inquiries, handling payments, and even bringing financial consultancy to the table. Every now and then, you’ll step into the clinical spotlight, assisting the doctors and nurses by measuring height, weight, and even checking blood pressure.

We understand that embarking on a new career journey can feel a bit like jumping into the unknown. We’ve got your back as we offer job placement support for up to six months, and we’ll even sharpen your interview skills and resume-writing, so you’ll be ready to ace your interviews with confidence.
