Jimmy Leong

Jimmy has had extensive training and facilitating experience in his capacity in his various appointments from the private sector to the public sector. He has been instrumental in leading the learning and development through classroom-based environment to self-directed learning. His ability to engage with the subject matter specialist to match the learner’s profile was critical in his various appointments.

With 24 years amassed in his professional career, Jimmy has been employed in leadership positions and involved in transformative function in training development. He has been instrumental in leading teams in formulating learning and development programs. He has conducted and developed numerous training programs from technical to soft skills for youth and adult since 2002. His approachable style has gain invitational comments, and he believes in ensuring his sessions come with the joy of learning. With his firm belief in learning, Jimmy transfers his passion to his audience.

Jimmy graduated from the University of London in 2021 with PGDE in Educational Leadership and University of Otago in 2004 with a Bachelor of Information Science. He is a AWS and Microsoft as well as EC Council Master Certified Instructor and more recently appointed Associate Professional with Murdoch University.

‘Every moment is a learning experience’ is the mantra Jimmy lives by and often volunteers his time on projects for the underprivileged.

His superpower is to learn and acquire new skills and knowledge and transfer them to willing learners. He indulges in sci-fi shows, a stimulating read in his downtime, and spending time with his loved ones (including 3 fur kids).
