What we do
Our mission: We transform education to employment systems to prepare, place, and support people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible.
Through our program adults of all ages—whether unemployed, underemployed, or needing to learn new skills—can connect to the training, support, and jobs to change their path.
We solve a wide range of employer challenges—skilled talent shortages, lackluster on-the-job performance, reskilling needs, and higher turnover in important roles—with our unique approach and our determined graduates. In Singapore, Generation is collaborating with SkillsFuture Singapore together with post-secondary institutions (polytechnics and ITEs) to develop demand-driven ‘train & place’ programmes through the SkillsFuture Work Study Certificate (WScert).
#GetReadySG programs
#GetReadySG is a national skills initiative co-created by Microsoft and Generation Singapore, in partnership with Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). The initiative hopes to upskill up to 1000 job seekers over a 2 year period and match them with meaningful employment opportunities in technology.
New hires who add value from day one
Many employers struggle to find entry-level staff with the right technical skills and personal attributes. Generation sources, trains, and energizes new recruits who can create value for your business from their first day on the job. Generation also works with employers to customize programs based on your specific needs. Read about how we help solve employer challenges
"The bootcamp was intensive, but in the best way possible. It was simply state-of-the-art! The latest and greatest in tech was taught to us and it equipped us with everything we needed. I now have a job opportunity and it’s the best-case scenario that I could ever have anticipated! If not for this program, I’d still be stuck in my previous rabbit hole. From the bottom of my heart, I am very thankful. I never knew that life can be so good.”
