Prateek Hegde

Prateek Hegde is the COO of Asia-Pacific region and the CEO for Generation in Singapore. In his role, he oversees the implementation of Generation programs run in partnership with SkillsFuture and Post-Secondary Institutions in Singapore, and also leads Generation’s outreach and expansion efforts in Asia-Pacific. Prior to this, he led the country operations for Generation India where he oversaw Generation’s scaling to over 3,000 graduates within a year with above-market placement and on-job retention outcomes. He also led efforts to embed the Generation methodology within public-funded training providers. Before Generation, he led the country operations of a skill-development startup that trained and certified over 25,000 school/college drop-outs in India in various employable skills of the future.

Prateek is among the founding cohort of 50 ‘Young India fellows’ at Ashoka University and has studied Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Chennai.
