Training Manager

Kesavan started his career in the F&B Industry almost 15 years ago. He did his Specialist Diploma in Food Services Management from At-Sunrice Global Chef Academy and a Graduate Diploma in Hotel and Tourism Management from New Zealand’s NZMA. As part of his F&B Journey, Kesavan has worked in various roles such as in Operations, Training, Procurement, Front of House and Restaurant & Events operations. His work experience in F&B related roles have exposed him to different facets of the industry and through these, he has found his calling in Training & Development.

To embark and explore the road of Training & Development, Kesavan decided to do a mid-career switch. He took up a degree in Business & Management from University of London and while pursuing his degree, he carved time out to take up ACTA certification and other certifications. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he searched long and hard for opportunities that could put him on the track to his calling. Met with disappointments, he decided to sign up for a WSG Program that would take in individuals who were doing mid-career switch. He was a Senior Associate with WSG analyzing data that were taken from WSG run programs and initiatives.
Kesavan also took up training opportunities and became a Freelance Corporate Trainer, conducting training for individuals and organizations from various industries.

Kesavan is a PEOPLE’s person, and he loves human interaction especially over food. Being a Big Foodie, he enjoys cooking and hosting friends over. After becoming a father to a mischievous daughter, he devotes most of his time with her, trying new food recipes with his wife and occasional binge-watching Netflix/Amazon Prime.
